Medicare

Not yet — but I'd like to know you're waiting.

I'm not able to take Medicare patients as of now for complex reasons related to medicare rules around payments for services, and I'd rather tell you now than have you find out after filling out a bunch of paperwork.

Here's the honest reason: Storied Medicine is a young practice, and I'm growing it purposefully. A small panel is what makes the rest of it possible — appointments that run as long as they need to, a doctor who knows your history without looking it up. Medicare isn't something the practice is set up for at this stage. That's what the system allows for right now and doesn’t have anything to do with who I want to care for.

I expect that to change and if you'd like to be here when it does, leave your name below and I'll reach out as soon as I can take you on.

No cost, no obligation, nothing to sign. I won't add you to a mailing list (unless you check that box) or share your information with anyone (ever). When Medicare opens up here, you'll hear from me.

If you have a question in the meantime, email admin@storiedmedicine.com.

If you need care now, we are happy to refer you to my colleagues at Oodle Family Medicine in Renton and Wise Patient in Capital Hill. Rachel Beda at Wise Patient and Liz Eamon at Oddle are excellent picks for LGBTQIA affirming care and gender care.
